100 club

The 100 club are dedicated donors giving specifically to support the production of pre-cooked meals to go to individuals and families who are facing a food crisis.
The meals are prepared by our in-house chef and volunteers who assist to prepare the vegetables and other ingredients. Each meal has been prepared to account for allergies and are suitable for children as well as adults
The biggest cost we have relates to the four types of meats we use in the meals: beef, chicken, pork and fish.
We ask that the members of the 100 club donate the equivalent of £2 a week. Over the year that would allow us to cover the £11,000 cost of those meats.
We are looking to start to make meal packs as an alternative to pre-made meals to encourage the sustaining or development of cooking skills. We will be issuing those through the soon to be opened “Pantry”.
If you are a regular donor we would be happy if you were to stop donating tinned and packet food and instead support the foodbank through this initiative.
